Casemiro joins Cristiano Ronaldo in the top sales of Real Madrid's history

Real Madrid has been a main protagonist, for one thing or another, in the summer transfer market every year. Galactic arrivals such as those of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo Nazario, Beckham, Roberto Carlos… Some of the most expensive sales in the history of Real Madrid have a common denominator: Manchester United.
The Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo left for 115 million euros to Juventus. After years in which Cristiano Ronaldo won absolutely everything with the Merengue side, he made the decision in August 2018 to head to Turin in search of new challenges. He did not have the success he was looking for away from Madrid, and years later he ended up returning to the team where he made it to the top: Manchester United.

His was the last sale of Real Madrid, and has entered the top 3 most expensive in its history, also to Manchester United. Casemiro’s transfer would surpass that of Ángel Di María if the variables of the transfer are achieved, in which the English side could end up paying 13 million euros more. Although, even so, it would still fall far short of the 115 million euros obtained for Cristiano Ronaldo.
