Carlo Ancelotti lived a nightmare the past two months, losing several key players (game changers) like Thibaut Courtois -GK-, his defensive teammate Militão, and most recently, the young brazilian striker, Vinicius Jr.

Courtois was operated successfully by spanish doctor, Manuel Leyes, in august 17 of a torn ACL on the left knee. Real Madrid didn't have any return date for Courtois, the only they could inform was that he will begin his recovery process, but that kind of injuries last for a minimum of seven months.

Kepa Arrizabalaga, lend for one season by Chelsea, was drafted to substitute the Belgian goalkeeper due to his  long term recovery process. As Courtois was ruled out, his teammate, Militão, was also injured for the same issue, torn ACL, when playing against Athletic de Bilbao in the first week of La Liga.

And trouble didn´t end up there, Vinicius Jr., the new Real Madrids number 7 was also injured in the third week against Celta Vigo match, where Vinicius suffered a muscle tear in the right biceps femoris. He may be out for a month, hoping to return for the week four, where Real Madrid will face Atletico de Madrid on september 23.
