Carlo Ancelotti, 62, plans to retire after his current tenure as Real Madrid coach, the Italian told Prime Video in an interview, clarifying however that he is prepared to extend his tenure at the Madrid club for several more years.

"After Real yes, I will probably stop. But if Real keep me here for ten years, I will coach for ten years," the coach declared in this interview.

Carletto, who has a contract with the Merengue team until 2024, won the Spanish league title and the Champions League this past season, eleven months after his return to the Real Madrid helm.

With this title, he became the first coach in history to win all five major European championships. Ancelotti won the league title in France, Spain, England, Germany and Italy.

Ancelotti, who has also won four Champions Leagues as a coach, two with AC Milan (2003 and 2007) and two with Real Madrid (2014 and 2022), says he wants to enjoy his family and travel around the world.

'Carletto' wants more time with his family

"I would like to spend time with my grandchildren, go on vacation with my wife, there are so many things I have neglected that I would like to do. Go to hundreds of places I've never been to," he explained to Prime Video's microphones.
