Guardiola has revealed that he does not want to continue at the club. The coach in an interview with "Catalunya Radio" said that he does not want to be an Alex Ferguson. This Scotsman worked for almost 30 years at Manchester United and the Spaniard does not plan to continue with the Citizens for a long time.

“I will not be City's Ferguson. Being 25-28 years old, no." Guardiola said in the interview. These words confirm that Pep only intends to fulfill his contract with Manchester City until the 2025 season and seek a new challenge in his career.
