Pep Guardiola took seven years to win the Champions League with Manchester City. In the last season they won all the championships and became the most powerful team in the world. Now the coach has made history with the Citizens.

Now Pep Guardiola has revealed that he does not want to continue at the club. The coach in an interview with "Catalunya Radio" said that he does not want to be an Alex Ferguson. This Scotsman worked for almost 30 years at Manchester United and the Spaniard does not plan to continue with the Citizens for a long time.

“I will not be City's Ferguson. Being 25-28 years old, no." Guardiola said in the interview. These words confirm that Pep only intends to fulfill his contract with Manchester City until the 2025 season and seek a new challenge in his career.

Pep Guardiola in 2025 will be free and has not made a decision in which team he wants to work. ESPN reported that the coach could have offers from the Spanish National Team and FC Barcelona. But there would also be a pause in his career.

Guardiola does not want to retire at FC Barcelona

In an interview for Jorge Valdano, Pep Guardiola mentioned that he wants to retire at Barcelona Athletic and work with young people. I'll finish back where I started. I will take my last steps in the Masía, hopefully it will be in Barca. I think it's the best," said the Manchester City coach.
