The problem lies in the fact that the French striker will not renew that extra year, as reported by L'Equipe, with a report that says "Mbappé has informed PSG that he will not renew and the sheikhs want to sell him to Madrid now."

Now, Paris Saint-Germain wants to prevent the striker from leaving for free, so they will try to sell him this summer. The main buyer is, obviously, Real Madrid, the team where Kylian Mbappe dreams of playing.
