The captain of the Argentine national team competes against two Frenchmen for the best player of 2022 award
FIFA announced the three finalists for 'The Best' for the best player in the world in 2022. After winning the World Cup in Qatar, being the main figure of the Argentine team, Lionel Messi is among the three candidates along with Kylian Mbappé and Karim Benzema, who reacted immediately to the nomination.
