The Polish striker is determined to leave the German giants this summer and his most likely destination is FC Barcelona, although the Germans want a significant amount for the transfer of their star striker.
Bayern Munich's massive first offer to Juventus for Matthijs de Ligt
FC Barcelona could be really close to signing Robert Lewandowski as Bayern Munich have decided to put a final price on his departure. The Bavarian side have been making Barcelona nervous for several weeks regarding their financial demands, however, it seems that they have now made it clear how much money they want to get for the Polish striker in this transfer window.
According to 'Sky Germany', Bayern have decided to approve the departure of Lewandowski as long as Barça pay at least 50 million euros fixed. This is the figure, apparently non-negotiable, that the German team seeks to get for the departure of whom so far has been their greatest striker.
In recent weeks there has been speculation of a figure close to 60 million euros. However Barça was only willing to pay about 30-35 million euros fixed and complete the price with some kind of variables of easy compliance, this is what Bayern does not want. The German club will only sell him if they get around €50 million in their hands.
For his part, Joan Laporta, president of FC Barcelona, is trying to activate more economic 'levers' so that the club has more financial viability to achieve more signings. The arrival of Robert Lewandowski is a priority, both for the club and for Xavi Hernandez, so the president must make more money to be able to sign him because, as of today, they cannot afford to pay the amount that Bayern is asking for.
