Neymar Jr couldn’t make any score in today’s match versus Damak, is he worth it?

Neymar’s Al-Hilal has tied the game versus Damak in the seventh week of the Saudi Pro League, leaving them with just one point, and now their lead in the standings is in danger as Benzema’s Al-Ittihad needs a victory to surpass them and become the leaders of the tournament.

Neymar Jr. couldn´t make any harm in today’s match, as closer as he was he failed to do so, and now the alarms are ringing in Al-Hilals directive. Neymar Jr. made the deal in sports history contracts, he has been paid over 100 million dollars each season in order to play with Al-Hilal, but until now, Ney has only made an assist in the whole tournament, and failed to score his first goal today against Damak.

Neymar Jr. signed with Al-Hilal until the summer of 2025, with a two year contract that grants him 160 million dollars for each season. Nevertheless, his performance has not been the desired and now the question is in the air, was he worth it?

Although, this hasn’t been the only time Neymar Jr. has been granted with the most expensive transfer. Paris Saint Germain paid to FC Barcelona 222 million euros (about 236 mdlls) for his addition to the parisian squad.

What’s going on with Ney?

When PSG bought Neymar from FC Barcelona, he was expected to win at least a Champions League, but he failed. Although, he was five time champion of the Ligue 1, scored 118 goals and made 77 assists in the 173 games he played with Paris Saint Germain.

Even with a great team in PSG alongside Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé, Neymar’s performance wasn't the greatest. Now, with Al-Hilal, he has become the most paid player in the Saudi Pro League history, but his results on the pitch haven't talked about his worth.
