FC Barcelona continues with an important start to the season and a lot has to do with the high level that its main stars are having, as well as the footballers who have come to strengthen the club. A player who has already spent some seasons in the team is the Dutchman Frenkie De Jong, who unfortunately suffered an injury in the team's victory against Celta, which would cause him to miss important duels with his team.

FC Barcelona went from 0-2 to 3-2 in a matter of minutes. It took just 8 minutes to turn a story that seemed settled in favor of Celta de Vigo after the second visitor goal. However, Robert Lewandowski appeared to quickly tie everything in the game and Joao Cancelo gave the winning goal to Xavi Hernandez's team.

The club did not take long to report Frankie De Jong's official medical report: “The tests carried out tonight have shown that first team player De Jong suffers an injury to the distal tibiofibular syndesmosis of his right ankle. It is low and his evolution will determine his availability,” the club indicated cautiously, but the truth is that the first information shows that the player will be - at least - four weeks off the playing field.

How long would Frenkie De Jong be out?

According to newspaper Sport, Frankie De Jong would not return until after the October national team break and could be out "until the month of November." That is, it is doubtful to play the classic on November 28 against Real Madrid, which will be played from 4:15 p.m. (Spanish time) at the Montjuic Olympic Stadium. The club, for now, has not given precise times for returning to the fields. De Jong's replacement attracted the attention of locals and strangers. It was not understood if it was a tactical change or if the player had an injury. But minutes later it had already emerged that the player had received a blow and that was why he was quickly replaced by Xavi Hernández.
