And all for wanting to make a good gesture not only to his fans but to a different audience than the one he is used to, just like Fergie, former Black Eyed Peas vocalist, did. And now both artists have something in common, but it is something very, very embarrassing.

What do Alejandro Fernandez's son and Fergie from Black Eyed Peas have in common

Both music stars have in common that they were chosen to sing the national anthem of their respective countries... and they ruined the moment, either because they forgot the lyrics or, as in the case of Fergie, because she weirdly sang the American anthem, to say the least. 

In the case of Alejandro Fernandez's son, known only as Alex Fernandez, he confused the lyrics of the national anthem because instead of singing "Más si are un extraño enemigo/ Profanar con su planta tu suelo", he sang "Más si osare un extraño enemigo/ Profanar con tu planta tu suelo", so once his participation was over, the singer was the object of mockery and memes in social networks. 

In the case of Fergie, the moment was more awkward and uncomfortable as the singer sang the anthem of the United States, called "The Star-Spangled Banner", in a "sensual" way that did not go according to the occasion, which caused laughter even from some celebrities present at the time, such as Beyoncé, Nick Cannon, Jamie Foxx, Arnold Schwarzenegger or Jimmy Kimmel.
