After signing Vitor Roque, the new Brazilian jewel that Barcelona wants for 2024
Xavi Hernández seeks to improve his midfield with a new Brazilian gem after the hiring of Vitor Roque.
Vitor Roque has been one of the latest signings of FC Barcelona thinking about the future. During this past summer market, the Spanish team spent around 30 million euros to close the signing of the Brazilian forward from Athletico Paranaense, plus another 31 million in variables. There is less and less time left for the 18-year-old to arrive in Barcelona, since he will arrive in January of this coming 2024 after having signed until 2029 with an exit clause of 500 million.
Many are already speaking wonders about Barça's reinforcement and commitment and one of them was Aloísio Pires, a historic FC Porto player with a Blaugrana past: “Vitor is a very young boy. He is very strong, he finishes very well, he has a lot of power. Although he is not a tall player, he does well in the aerial game, he is very complete. He handles both legs, one on one he is very good. He is among the best of his age. If Barça has signed him it is for something and I think he will be successful, he is very competitive”, he revealed in Sport.
After having closed the hiring of Roque in the middle of 2023, FC Barcelona would be planning to make a new signing also thinking about the future. And according to what Sport tells us, the Catalan team will fight together with Chelsea to acquire the services of Gabriel Moscardo, a footballer who currently works for Corinthians and who is dreaming of both arriving in Barcelona and also arriving in the city of London.
Who is Gabriel Moscardo?
We are talking about a young footballer of only 17 years of age who works as a defensive central midfielder. His height is 6'1" and he is the one who leads the Corinthians midfield at the beginning of this season. According to the media, FC Barcelona seeks with Moscardo to have future solutions in what will be the pivot position, which after the Sergio Busquets departure to Inter Miami has not been able to fill that void.
