CNN Portugal claims that a Saudi Arabian club would pay up to €250 million to Ronaldo for two seasons.

CNN Portugal claims that a Saudi Arabian club would pay up to €250 million to Ronaldo for two seasons.

As reported by journalist Bruno Ferreira of Mais Futebol with information from CNN Portugal, a Saudi Arabian team is interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo in this summer market and is trying to convince the Portuguese to end his career in Europe.

The offer would be for two seasons and would be broken down as follows: €250 million for the player, €30 million for Manchester United and €20 million for the intermediaries in the operation.

The Portuguese still has one year left on his contract at United and despite the doubts that have arisen about his continuity, his intention to date was to leave the 'Red Devils' this summer. However, Erik Ten Hag has recently said that he is preparing for the new season with Cristiano and that there is no intention of selling him.

CR7's options dissipate

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United with the intention of playing in the UEFA Champions League next season and Jorge Mendes is looking for a new destination for him to continue his career.

The clubs that have shown interest in him in recent days are PSG, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, but there is nothing concrete with any of the three teams mentioned above. It seems complicated that, in a World Cup year, he will leave for a club outside of Europe. Manchester United wants to convince him to stay at the club until the end of his contract in the summer of 2023.
