FC Barcelona move for Denzel Dumfries, the fee Inter would ask for the rightback

FC Barcelona has improved its economic situation with respect to the economic insolvency it was going through a few weeks ago. Now, Joan Laporta's club is working on several very important signings, using all the resources the club has, including players, to close several deals that could turn the club, once again, into an elite squad.

Due to Barça’s commercial appeal, the club was able to unblock its situation when other smaller teams, with infinitely smaller debts, are forced to make sales to make signings. The truth is that the azulgrana project is ambitious and is showing signs of recovery. From Lewandowski, to Jules Koundé,  and the possible signing of Denzel Dumfries could be the start of a Barcelona resurgence.

Denzel Dumfries arrived from PSV Eindhoven to reinforce Inter Milan's right wing last season. The Dutchman's season with the Nerazzurri has been magnificent, which has attracted the attention of several European teams, such as Barça.

Inter closed his transfer for 15 million euros, but now the Italians, knowing the potential of the 26 year-old right winger, are asking for at least 40 million euros. Barça, according to Calciomercato, aware that it has several costly operations on its hands, intends to use two of its possible exits to reduce the transfer price. The Culés would be willing to offer both Mingueza and Dest, although the Nerazzurri prefer the money upfront.
