LAFC 2025 schedule: All MLS matches and Concacaf Champions Cup

LAFC, reigning U.S. Open Cup champions, are gearing up for an exciting 2025 season with commitments in the MLS, the Concacaf Champions Cup, and other high-profile matches. Entering their eighth year in the league, the team is set to face challenges as they strive to return to the top and contend for a third MLS Cup in four years.

Season opener and key matches

Steve Cherundolo’s squad will debut on February 22 at BMO Stadium against Minnesota United, kicking off the 30th season of Major League Soccer. Highlighted games include El Tráfico, with the first clash on May 18 in Carson against LA Galaxy and the second on July 19 in Los Angeles. Fans can also look forward to a rematch against the Seattle Sounders, who eliminated LAFC in the 2024 Western Conference semifinals. These matches are scheduled for March 8 in Seattle and May 14 in Los Angeles.

Another notable matchup is the first-ever game against the expansion team San Diego FC, set for March 29 at Snapdragon Stadium.

International commitments

Concacaf Champions Cup

LAFC will compete in the Round of 16 against Colorado Rapids, with home-and-away legs on February 18 and February 25. This tournament is a key opportunity for the team to establish itself as one of the region’s best.

Breaks for FIFA Club World Cup and Gold Cup

The MLS season will pause from June 15 to June 24 for the FIFA Club World Cup and the Concacaf Gold Cup, both of which will feature MLS stadiums as primary venues.
