Last weeks were hard for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish attacker was having a tremendous season so far and suffered a muscular injury that let him out of the fields. With 39 years, he couldn’t play the last matches and started his recovery to be back in a couple of weeks.+

But during his absence, Ibra was very near his companions and followed them everywhere. It was not just at the trainings, where he was doing his special movements to recover, but also at the matches, where he could not even play. This Thursday, AC Milan faced Celtic for Europa League Week 5.

The Italian side won 4-2 and, even though he was not able to play yet, Zlatan was outside the pitch encouraging his teammates. With the victory, Milan finally qualified to the next round of the international competition, after earning 10 points on five matches played. They’ll have their last game against Sparta Praga, to try to end first in Group H.

The gesture was compared on social media with the one that Javier Chicharito Hernández didn’t have. The Mexican attacker was also injured this season with LA Galaxy, but didn’t appear next to the field as Zlatan did. It was even said that he helped to unseat his head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto, who was kicked after all.
