Everyone was expecting a huge presentation from Gonzalo Higuaín tonight. Everything was set for him to display a stardom presentation and get Inter Miami into playoffs. DC United and Montreal loses, together with Chicago's draw, were the perfect landscape for Inter.

Non of that happened. In fact, there was one thing that did happened: Higuaín. The Argentinian striker played horrible and show no compromise with the team. He walked almost the whole game and didn't gave his all to create chances for himself to score.

The thing that hurst Inter fans the most is that very little of Higuaín's talent would have been required to get to playoffs, but he didn't even offered that. An example of that was one of the final moments of the game when he shoot the ball from outside the area and almost scored an incredible goal. But he never really tried.

Of course, it's not just his fault. We are speaking of a team that has a world champion, and not a world champion of 2002 but a world champion of 2018. Blaise Matuidi played well and is the leader of the team, but also lacks of that spirit of winning. The same can be said from the skillful Mexican Rodolfo Pizzarro. The three of the can now enjoy the beach. They are almost eliminated, anyway.
