After been defeated at home by the brand-new Eastern Conference leader Toronto FC, New England Revolution is seeking a triumph that secures their current playoffs spot. They will try to get in New York City when facing the New York City FC. Defensive Henry Kessler, an NYC native, is moved by the game coming ahead.

Kessler told to the press that, growing up, he didn't use to support any of the New York teams because his parents weren't soccer fans. But he did visited the Yankee Stadium, which is now the home of the NYCFC, because he used to be a Yankee fan. Even more, Kessler grew up just a couple of blocks away from the Yankee Stadium, son playing there will be very special for him.

New England Revolution has faced NYCFC twice his season, collecting a defeat and a draw. Now, they meet the Skyblues just after the NYC team has beaten D.C. United 4-1. NYCFC is four points ahead of the Revs in the Eastern standings. Behind Bruce Arena's team comes the other NYC team, the Red Bull, who inaugurates the non-direct playoffs positions.

Kessler said his teammates has told him that playing at the Yankee Stadium is always complicated because the field is mucho smaller than most of the MLS's pitches. They will have to concentrate when serving air balls, specially from corner-kicks, where the NYC grown plays a key role. Henry Kessler is the teams rookie and played at the New York Red Bulls academy before joining the Cavaliers from the University of Virginia.
