Carlos Vela is in the last period of his recovery from the knee injury that kept him out of the Los Angeles FC team for more than 10 games. Today his coach announced that Carlos Vela could return earlier than expected. LAFC would run a very big risk risking Vela to advance his return, but what they want is for him to have a football rhythm before the playoffs.

Los Angeles FC is already secure in the playoffs but what is worrying is that star forward Carlos Vela has yet to recover from his injury. While risking him without playing the playoffs may be a bad decision, Carlos Vela has shown that he doesn't need many games to get back to a good level.

If Carlos Vela returns earlier than expected and suffers from his injury, LAFC will lose its best forward and the hopes of winning the MLS Cup. Carlos Vela is not only the best forward in LAFC but in all of MLS. It has been two years since he has been showing that he is one step above the rest of the forwards.

The only player who knew how to measure up to Vela was Ibrahimovic, although for many Vela was far superior. It will be a mystery to know how Carlos Vela will return after not playing soccer for so long, but surely, as he is accustomed to, he will return at a high level and break all the networks for the playoffs.
