Stefany Ferrer Van-Ginkel is a 23-year-old player born in the city of Campo Grande in Brazil but then grew up in Spain in Barcelona but with Brazilian parents. She plays as an offensive and forward midfielder and promises to be an exciting young talent for Tugres, who want to build the strongest female team possible in the region and help them compete against some of the strongest and best women teams in the world like FC Barcelona, Lyon, Wolfsburg, and more. Liga MX Femenil are slowly starting to grow as many female fans are enjoying the football being played and the opportunity the ladies are given. With the signing of Stefany Ferrer Van Ginkel, it welcomes more foreign players to join the female Mexican league to make it more competitive and grow the soccer in Mexico.

In her most recent tournament she participated in nine games, where she made six goals and a pair of assists. Her offensive qualities are speed and field vision. The Brazilian star was always impressed during her training sessions, which also led to her playing FC Barcelona's women's team in the past. She did play for Espanyol in Spain, which led to her scoring multiple goals, leaving universities in the United States impressed. She does bring that Brazilian style to her game that excites fans as she can be very creative on the pitch that will help Tigres continue their dominance in the Liga MX feminil league.

Another of his strengths is power and placement, because with his most recent team he managed to violate the rival goals with long and medium distance shots at the points furthest from the goalkeepers. This is also crucial for what Tigres is looking for since she is offering a different style that many teams in the women's Liga MX teams have not seen before. More Liga MX Feminil teams like Club America will take notes in signing players from other countries to remain competitive and win more trophies.

"Hello everybody. I am Stefany Ferrer Van-Ginkel. I am Brazilian and Spanish. This is an announcement to say that I will be part of the Tigres family ”. He assured in a video released by the institution.

The Irish Times reported that she had a tough upbringing in her life as her mother couldn't take care of her when she was younger. She was born in a favela in a Brazilian city called Campo Grande. Her mother couldn't take care of her because she was reportedly a drug addict, and the player's grandmother took care of them for a bit until she was placed at an orphanage when Van Ginkel was just three years old. Stefany took the last name of her adopted parent. Her father's name was Francesc Ferrer-Alegre and her adopted mother is Astrid Van Ginkel. Eventually Stefany found football, in which she considers it to be the thing that saved her life.

Stefany once said, " I was an angry kid, I would say bad things to people. I would be really aggressive. I could speak the language [Spanish in Spain], so I couldn't communicate with people, I couldn't make friends. I would just go to football practice, that was my way to connect with people. Football was like my medicine."

Stefany Ferrer Van Ginkel would be offered to play for Barcelona but due to commute issues that dream and opportunity was gone. She was then given a chance to play for the rivals of FC Barcelona Espanyol, which she took. She shined with Espanyol as she scored 49 goals in one season, which led to the team being promoted to Spain's second division. This led to a life-changing opportunity as he was then offered a scholarship to West Virginia University in the United States in 2017.

Not only did she shine for the University of West Virginia, but she also earned a degree in sports management, which led to her being ambitious about playing football professionally. She would eventually become a professional soccer player thanks to the opportunity offered by BT Sport. The BT Sports series, Ultimate Goal, offered female players the opportunity to demonstrate their talents and skills that would help them earn a professional contract with a club.

She is now offered a contract with Mexican champions Tigres UNAL. She dreams to play in the NWSL and to play in the Los Angeles Angel City FC team. The American club is becoming a popular club for female players, especially for players in the United States and in North America.

Stefany faced some controversial backlash after an incident during her time in the United States. She was driving past a Pro Isreal rally in Beverly Hills, and then she and her team slowed down to confront the rally. The Brazilian soccer player would make a Nazi Salute towards the Pro Israel rally. The clip was sent online and some easily identified the Brazilian soccer player in doing the salute. Stefany Ferrer Van Ginkel and her teammate had deleted most of their social media accounts because of the video that showed them against the pro Israel rally. The two professional soccer players offered an apology for the controversial video that offended many online and the people present.
