Lewis Morgan grew up been with the pressure of having to succeed. After coming through the Rangers youth system, he joined Paisley's St. Mirren, where he made his debut. He was the hot shot of the Scottish Premiership, catching the Old Firm Derby's teams attention. He joined Celtic, but his tenure wasn't successful.

After signing his contract with Celtic, he spent a year in loan at St. Mirren before heading to the Celtic Park. Six months later, in January 2019, he was sent on loan again, this time to League One's Sunderland, were he played 14 games, many of them coming from the bench, and was able to scored a goal.

Back at Glasgow, he was given a second chance as striker after Odsonne Edouard's injury. But Morgan wasn't able to impress the Celtic organization in the first half of the 2019-2020 season. So when Edouard was back, Celtic decided to accept Inter Miami's offer for him. And then Morgan headed to Miami.

Lewis arrived at the US decided and confident that he could achieve the stardom level he had shown during his formation phase. Inter Miami, as most of the expansion teams, is a mixture of youth and new foreign stars, like Gonzalo Higuaín. That mixture appear to be what Lewis needed to take a step forward and lead the team. Now, the Scottish winger is shining and taking Miami to playoffs.
