Finally, the World Cup Qualifier will be starting in the next days in South America but not all the national teams will compete in the same conditions. Even though the top players, such as Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez or James Rodríguez, will be available for their teams, some others won't have the same luck.

This Monday two teams of the MLS confirmed the rumors and revealed that they won't let out their international players in this break. Specifically, DC United and New York City FC announced that their three Peruvian players, Edison Flores, Yordy Reyna y Alexander Callens, won't be yielded.

The news was a sledgehammer for head coach Ricardo Gareca, who rapidly reacted and called Alex Valera y Matías Succar, both from the local league, to join the national team.

Perú will be heading two hard matches in the start of the World Cup Qualifier, as they are going to play against Paraguay and Brazil. In the COVID-19 pandemic, FIFA clear out that clubs weren't obligated to let their players out to play with their national teams.
