Rooney decided to step aside and continue on another path, now he is without a team waiting for a new opportunity.
The Daily Mail newspaper mentioned that MLS side DC United is interested in hiring Wayne Rooney as their new manager.

DC United has an interim coach who is Chad Ashton who took the place of Hernán Losada, who was fired due to poor results.
Wayne Rooney already knows DC United, he played two seasons in the MLS with this club where he participated in 52 games and scored 25 goals.
