We still have a lot to say about an incredible 2021 MLS season that ended up with New York City FC winning its first MLS Championship against Portland Timbers in a match that went all the way to penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw in regular time.

From the inaugural game of Austin FC, the newest expansion team in the league, to the elimination of 2020 Champion, Columbus Crew, and the opening of three new stadiums around the league, there’s a lot of thing we’ll remember from this historical season. Especially the return of fans to the stands in full capacity after a year of diverse protocols stablished by the league due to Covid-19.

Prior the 2022 MLS Season, when the league will expand to 28 teams with the addition of Charlotte FC, and will have a lot of changes to its format, we have a lot of recaps to do, like this Top 10. There were a lot of outstanding goals the didn’t make the cut.
