The unusual event in the game between Nashville and DC United

Nashville Soccer Club and D.C. United had a strong game in which the local won by the smallest difference of one to zero. In this game, there was an unusual event that had only happened 20 years ago in MLS, and it fills several people with pride. 
After 20 years, a woman was in charge of umpiring a match in MLS, and the proud manager was Tori Penso, who broke a drought since 2000 in which no woman mediated in MLS. 
Notably, Tori Penso is the fourth woman in history to referee an MLS game. Both Nashville Soccer Club and D.C. United congratulated the refereeing and showed their pride in being a part of this great event in the tournament's history.
