MLS rivalry cup California Clásico is one of the oldest classic games between two teams of the US proffesional soccer. Los Angeles Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes will be head to head tonight in the 42nd edition of this historic match. With a difficult context, The Galaxy wants to stop a two year streak without winning to its eternal rival.

Los Angeles Galaxy's present day is far from the expectatives they had at the beginning of the year. Guillermo Barros Schelotto hasn't found the right strategy to command his players to good soccer. And furthermore, Chicharito Hernandez injuries and Cristian Pavón possible departure only makes it all more complex.

On the other hand, SJ Earthquakes are having an okay league until today's match. Matias Almeyda, also Argentinean coach, managed to win two matches, draw the same quantity and only lose once. The Quakes won two of the last three games in California Clasico and the last time The Galaxy claimed a victory was in 2018 for 1-0. Still, Los Angeles is up in the historic stats with 31 wins over the 24 wins from its rival.
