The Eastern conference leader, Toronto FC, is a defensive powerhouse. They have only conceded 9 goals in the last 10 matches and throughout the season they have only conceded 16 goals. This means that they have only conceded one goal per game, which positions the, by far, as the strongest defense of the whole MLS.

The Reds not only receive few goals but have a high effectiveness scoring. They are the third top-scoring Eastern Conference team, with 27 goals, just behind Union Philadelphia and Orlando City FC, which have that have converted 28 goals each. The league's top-scoring teams, anyway, belongs to the West, with Seattle Sounders having scored 34 and Portland Timbers 33.

Numbers doesn't favors Cincinnati, which closes the Eastern Conference standings, with 13 points. It's just ahead of DC United, which totalize 11 points. The most shocking fact is that Cincinnati has almost as many goals conceded as as Toronto Football Club has scored. Moreover, Cincinnati has only scored 8 goals in 16 games, an average of 0.5 goals per game. The worst average in the whole MLS.

The Reds and The Orange and Blue will meet this Sunday, October 10. These teams haven't faced each other for more than a year. Their las game was held back on September 7, 2019, with the Canadian side winning 5-1 at Nippert Stadium, Cincinnati's home. That's the same scenario where they will meet tomorrow.
