Maxi Moralez knew how to be one of the most important players in New York City FC but coach Deila relegated him to a second position because he believes that other players are better than him. The reality is that the numbers indicate that with Maxi Moralez on the court, NYCFC is doing better than with him on the substitute bench.

There are more and more rumors of a personal fight between Coach Deila and Maxi Moralez since the Argentine player is not having the same minutes of the game that he had last season. Maxi Moralez is one of the Designated player and is currently not taken into account to play the matches.

Something similar happened with the Romanian player Mitrita who was loaned to Arab football almost without free. Mitrita and Moralez were both NYCFC Designated players but Deila decided they were no longer up to the task. For Deila, the NYCFC attack works better without them but the numbers show otherwise.

When Moralez and Mitrita were in command of the NYCFC attack, the team's goal average was 1.85 and currently NYCFC has a 1.29 average. Deila says that you have to go to the facts but the facts show otherwise. The only thing that makes it clear to us is that Deila and Moralez no longer get along and the problem that Moralez does not play is not football.
