The reasons why no MLS team can beat Toronto FC

Toronto FC defeat Atlanta United and now they are more first than ever, the second in the Eastern Conference is Philadelphia Union and even they are 6 points away. If Greg Vanney’s team keep on this path it is really unlikely for them not to win the MLS title this season.

Toronto can win playing the best football ever, but what is truly worth, is that they also win when they cannot play really well. Six of the last seven wins have come with a single goal, they know exactly what they need to do in each match to secure the points. Meanwhile, the other teams keep losing essential points.

Alejandro Pozuelo is right now the key man of the team, the most important player. Although, Vanney should get a lot of credit for this season if we focus on how Toronto managed to replace the stars of the team. Jozy Altidore is injured and Michael Bradley is not in his best shape, even then, they keep winning.

The team will face Philadelphia next match and that could be a huge step forward if they get a win. The Union is one of the only three teams with 10 victories and with Seattle Sounders, they are the only rivals that Toronto could be afraid of. However, nothing seems to stop Vanney’s team.
