Mark McKenzie could leave the Philadelphia Union in this passing market as the defender would be followed by one of the most important European clubs: Celtic of Scotland. After his great game in Philadelphia's 4-1 win over Montreal Impact, his chances only seem to increase as his level of play has been very good.

According to the Daily Record McKenzie has a great interest to leave the MLS and move to Europe since as a child he dreamed of playing in the best clubs in the world. He is also very happy to attract the eyes of European football clubs and his dream to fulfill is to be able to play the UEFA Champions League.

While Celtic has six central defenders at the moment, McKenzie's signing options are very low for this season. The only option of his arrival would be the possible sale of Kristoffer Ajer and that McKenzie arrives at the club as an option in the future defense.
