Montreal Impact lost again. That's no news, actually. It's been said: after Saipher Taider's transfer was announced, Impact's lack seems marked. No one, not even the front office, is doing enough to take the team to playoffs. Thierry Henry is certainly not, by the way. And on Wednesday night, Clement Diop, Impact's fine goalkeeper, wasn't able to do it neither.

Diop couldn't help his team avoiding a new defeat not because he had a bad game, but because he didn't even appeared at the field. It happened that the Senegalese goalie had to flew to his homecountry France on a hurry because he was required to solve some family issues that need his presence.

What's worst is that the timeline for Diop's return isn't set. That means that, depending on how that "family issues" develop, Diop could be back in a couple of days or in a couple of weeks. And something else needs to be point out: when Diop returns to the US, he will have to go through the mandatory self-quarantine of 14 days. So he will miss, at least, four games.

Things are as bad as they can be in Montreal. Or in Harrison, actually, because it's there where the team plays their home games. Players are choosing to leave before the transfer window of the MLS ends at the end of October. Taider made it official today. Diop case is weird. In addition, Rod Fanni got injured today -again-. And in the middle, Thierry Henry is walking on a tight rope. Will the coach see tomorrow?
