The offensive midfielder emerged from FC Barcelona arrived at the Canadian club for the beginning of the 2019-2020 season and did not have the start that everyone expected. After the coronavirus lockdown his game is lifting and goals are arriving. His manager, the  former french forward Thierry Henry, has a lot to do with that.

Thierry Henry landed on Montreal Impact's bench on November 2019. With almost a year of work he has helped Bojan to find his place on the field. In statements to the press, Krkic revealed that the his new head coach played a key role in his performance because he knows him as a player.

Bojan added that Henry told him he wants him to play closer to the score zone to generate scoring chances. The former Roma sticker also commented that Henry is helping him to handle the pressure of stardom better. It's always easier when that advice comes from a World Champion.

Bojan likes to be in contact with the ball and shots on goal. This is already known to Henry since they were teammates in Barcelona FC between the 2007 and 2010 seasons. Together they won the Champions League, Copa del Rey and Spanish League in the 2008-2009 season.
