Lionel Messi's decision of leaving Barcelona FC made the soccer world convulse. And different journalists started to try to link him into different teams along Europe specially. But, a tweet that went viral gave the idea that their is a candidate that will go after him. Frank Lampard, who played his last time of his career at New York FC, is the one who will try to tempt him to go to Chelsea FC.

It was Rio Ferdinand, an ex teammate of Lampard at the Englsh national team, who with a tweet made it clear that Chelsea is one of the candidates to stay with the best soccer player in the world. "Just heard Frank Lampard in now in for Messi. Some window this if Lamps pulls this off", joked Ferdinand. Chelsea would need to pay almost $125M in order to get the Argentinean, according to Transfermarket.

Lampard played for two years at New York FC where he decided to retire. He had stelar appareances and score 15 times in 31 games, an absolut outsanding number. After retring, he started his coach career at Derby County and last season he joined Chelsea FC, the team were he is a legend. Frankie wants to take Messi in what it would be one of the biggest events in soccer history.
