The future of Cristian Pavón is very uncertain, after the Argentinian winger has ended his contract with LA Galaxy. The attacker arrived to the MLS side on a loan from Boca Juniors and should have returned on December 2020. But LA Galaxy really want to keep him and are negotiating with the Aregntinian club.

The purchase option that Boca set for Pavón when they gave him on a loan was of $20 million. But everything was done before the COVID-19 pandemic and the crisis origined by it. Nowadays, LA Galaxy consider that that amount of money could be reduced and that Boca could let him out of $15 million.

Meanwhile, Pavón traveled to Argentina to rest. This season he played 22 matches, scoring 10 goals and giving three assists. Boca is really thinking on keeping him, as they will play the Copa Libertadores soon, and he could be a good reinforcement to start the round of 16 (against Internacional).

But it LA Galaxy don’t spend that fortune for Pavón, they could have anyway good signings with less money. Just to take a look on the Liga MX the most valuated player is J.J. Macías, who costs $10 million, and then we have Brian Lozano ($8 million), Maximiliano Meza ($8 million) or Roberto Alvarado ($8 million).
