On Sunday it will be a year since Joe Mansueto took over the Chicago Fire. After this period, various conclusions can be drawn regarding its management. Beyond that, Mansueto is clear about the path taken and where he wants to direct the Chicago Fire in the future.

“I’m really excited about the direction of the club and where we’re headed and the progress we’ve made over the past year,” Mansueto told the Sun-Times.

Regarding to the fans attendant, Mansueto was overwhelming: “If they give us their blessing, we’d love to have fans back at Soldier Field. It’s not really our call. We’re not the epidemiologists. As soon as they give us the green light, we’re eager and excited to welcome fans back to Soldier Field”.
