The Major League Soccer has always took part in different projects that support and help youth growth around the United States and the whole world. Now, they have embarked in a new strategic partnership: they have teamed up with Girls Academy (GA), the largest all-girls soccer development in the USA.

Girls Academy consists on 69 different club around the United States, with seven different conferences. In total, 7,500 girls compete across the nation. All the 69 clubs are all-girls platforms. GA values are: dedication, fun, respect, development, integrity and leadership.

The partnership with Girls Academy is part of the launch of MLS Next, a top world class new elite youth development which mission is to stand platforms to develop top world class players. MLS Next is completely new and has nothing to do -directly- with the appearance of players like Giovanni Reyna or Alphonso Davies.

MLS' Vicepresident and technical director, Fred Lipka, will join Girls Academy's technical advisory committee together with other three staffers of MLS Next: the MLS academy director, the youth director and the coordinator of MLS Next's platform with the clubs. The aim, Lipka said, is to share mutual expertise and vision.
