There is no doubt that Major League Soccer (MLS) continues to grow and therefore their signings are increasingly important. Here are the 10 most expensive signings that the league has had throughout its history.

Michael Bradley, Toronto FC

The midfielder from the United States was one of the league's big hits when he arrived for 10 million dollars, after a spell in European soccer where he played for teams such as Borussia Mönchengladbach, Aston Villa and AS Roma.
At 34 years of age, he is one of the stalwarts of the Canadian team, with whom he won two Conference titles and the MLS Cup.

Brian Fernández, Portland Timbers

The Argentine striker managed to attract attention in 2018, after two great tournaments with Necaxa in Liga BBVA MX and the Portland team paid just over $10 million greenbacks to buy his chip. However, the Santa Fe-born player's performance was not what was expected and he left MLS after a year of activity.

Alejandro Pozuelo, Toronto FC

After a great career in Belgian soccer with KRC Genk, where he had a total of 60 assists and 25 goals in 177 games played, he signed for the Canadian team Toronto FC for more than $10 million.
