Phil Rawling, along with his wife Carrie, still does several movements in soccer's world. This time, the Orlando City Soccer Club's founder decided to make a huge investment in Scotland to join Falkirk Football Club. According to the Falkirk Herald would be a six-figure sum into the club.
The Scottish team chairman Gary Deans said that adding Rawling and his wife would "bring enormous expertise and connections which will benefit the club". Rawlings is the former director of Stoke City, his hometown club, and has spent recent years consulting with clubs and leagues across the world.
“Considering Falkirk’s size, history and fanbase we recognise the club has been underperforming in recent years and we believe we can offer the financial impetus, network and expertise to help take Falkirk back to the Premiership", explained Rawlings about his new investment. We are eager to see the formalities completed and get to work alongside the other Directors at the Club. We believe Falkirk has a very bright future ahead," he closed.
