The beginning of the regular season of the Major League Soccer hasn't been the best for D.C. United. The Black and Red, which usually is one of the candidates to enter the playoff zone and battle for the MLS Cup, is far for having their best soccer level and the standings reflect it. Ben Olsen's head coach spot has been questioned. But it seems he would stay for a long time.

According to Charles Boehm, Ben Olsen "will not have to worry about his job status, “barring endless embarrassing defeats,” said a person close to the team who requested anonymity to speak candidly. In this way, the directives show and confirm a thought: this season is a transicion for D.C. United.

With this worrying situation behind, Olsen would have another environment to work with. His new arrival Gelmin Rivas has shown enough personality to grow along the games. However, it has been an upset to the Black and Red to lose the chance to have Gonzalo Higuain together with his brother Federico. Pipita finally decided to play for Inter Miami CF.
