Gonzalo Higuaín retires from soccer at the end of the MLS season

Inter Miami will suffer the loss for the next championship of its star forward, Gonzalo Higuaín, the Argentine decided to announce his retirement from soccer at the end of the team's participation in the current season of Major League Soccer. The club is close to qualifying for the playoffs.
“This decision was made three or four months ago. I informed the club and we reached a common agreement. It didn't happen from one day to the next", explained Higuaín at a press conference. Now the club will have to work on finding a new striker for next season.

Gonzalo Higuaín has been the only Franchise player that has really worked for the club. This season he has scored 14 goals, his performance has been key for the club to fight for a ticket to the playoffs.

Inter Miami loses its best player, a striker with leadership who has extensive experience in big clubs in Europe such as Real Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus, Napoli and AC Milan. Now the club will have to find a big star to have an impact in the league.
