The name of Alphonso Davies became viral in the late hours in the soccer world. The young Canadian achieved his dream of winning the Champions League with only 19 years old. But, he was not the first player that have an experience on European soccer to win the prestigious tournament. Jovan Kirovsky, Rafael Márquez and Jonathan dos Santos also managed to conquer it.

Davies came from a refugee camp in Ghana to Canada when he was a little boy. After a big effort he was selected by Vancouver Whitecaps to his debut with only 15 years old in the MLS. After four years he won the Champions League. Different was for Jovan Kirovsky, who starte his soccer career in Manchester United. But also four years later from his first match, he lifted the trophy with Borussia Dortmund. After 11 years playing in Europe, he decided to end his career in MLS where he played for Los Angeles Galaxy and Colorado Rapids.

The case of Rafael Márquez is probably the most known. The brilliant Mexican defender achieved the European trophy at 2006 with Barcelona FC. After seven years in Spain, he made a three-year experience in MLS playing for New York Red Bulls. Finally, Jonathan dos Santos is the fourth one. Actually playing in Los Angeles Galaxy since 2016, Jona was part of Barcelona's team when they conquered the Champions League at Wembley in 2011.
