The favorite team, the arrival of Luis Suarez marks Inter Miami as a favorite in the MLS
After the signing of the Uruguayan striker, those from Florida have the odds in their favor to win the title.
As if it were a subsidiary, Inter Miami has once again brought together old Barcelona stars with a view to achieving an MLS title. And facing the 2024 season, after being one of the worst teams in 2023, the goal looks closer than ever.
After a year with Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets in their squad, the arrival of Luis Suárez on the offensive has made the Florida team favorites to win the championship according to the betting houses.
The second most likely team is LAFC, winner of the MLS Cup in 2022, and champion of the Western Conference last season. They are followed by the Columbus Crew, current champion of the American tournament, and their state rival, FC Cincinnati.
Philadelphia Union is the fifth club that bookmakers put as favorites for this season, and below are Seattle Sounders and Atlanta United. Rounding out the Top 10 are Houston Dynamo, LA Galaxy and New York Red Bulls.
A past without playoffs
Of the ten teams that are preferred to win the championship, Inter Miami and Galaxy are the only two that did not reach the playoffs last season, in which the Florida team won the Leagues Cup, but lost the Final of the League to Houston. United States Open Cup, in addition to placing 27th in the league tournament, far from fighting for a place in the playoffs.
