If the regular season finish today, NYC FC would face Orlando City as they are in fifth and fourth place in the East Conference. The last match they played was a solid 4-1 against DC United, and now the fans have more reasons to dream with the title and here is why.

Maxi Morález is coming back, the Argentinian star suffered a knee injury that left him out for a month but now he is fully recovered and ready to play again. We will probably see him on the bench against New England, but that are really good news for the fans because a knee injury is always a warning when it comes near the Playoffs.

The midfielder has played almost 60 matches for New York City FC, scored 13 goals and made 14 assists, he has become one of the most important players on the squad. After the injury, there were some talks about him going back to play for his home town in Argentina but he decided to stay on the MLS.

Is this what New York City needs to win the title? Well, if no, this is the closest they are gonna get. Ronny Delia has a new weapon to secure a place at the Playoffs and with 7 matches to go he can even dream of getting to the third or second place, considering that Columbus Crew and Philadelphia are not that far.
