The Premier League team that loves Cristian Pavón and takes him away from LA Galaxy

Cristian Pavón had at LA Galaxy one of the best moments of his professional career. The attacker aged 24 played 35 games in the MLS side, scoring 14 goals and giving nine assists. This last season didn’t advance as expected for the team, that couldn’t qualify to the MLS Cup Playoffs.

The loan from LA Galaxy with Pavón ended and Boca Juniors had set a purchase clause of $20 million, considered very high after the COVID-19 pandemic and the crisis generated. That is why the U.S. club decided not to sign him and try to negotiate with Boca a new release.

With a contract until June 2022, the Argentinian side knows that Pavón is an expensive player, with a reported value of $17 million on specialized website Transfermarket, and doesn’t want to let him out for free. Using him once again seems not to be an option, as the memories he left at the club were not the best ones.

While LA Galaxy keeps negotiating, it is said that a Premier League club intended to sign Pavón. Todofichajes published the information, even though it was not said which team is the one chasing the forward. An offer from the English league could be more temptress not just for Boca but also for the player.
