Brian Lozano was one of the most important looses of Santos Laguna for this MX League Opening 2022 tournament, the Uruguayan soccer player decided to leave the club by expressing that "he was no longer passionate about soccer", this player had many offers among them from the MLS.
This player sees that MLS is better than Liga MX and makes this decision
An MLS club sought to hire the talented Uruguayan soccer player, but he decided to decline the offer because he preferred to play in his country with Peñarol.
"I am not leaving as I would liked to leave, the club did everything they could so that I would be calm be able to think about myself. I also resigned a lot of money, this goes beyond money. The club knew very well that it had a MLS offer, I told them 'I'm not seduced by the MLS or anything, the only thing that gives me peace of mind is being able to be close to my family, with them I can feel myself'.
The soccer player recognized that his priority is not soccer, he first plans to recover mentally, spend as much time as he can with his family and then recover his level with Peñarol from Uruguay.
"For now I don't think about the long term, first I think about recovering myself, being able to enjoy soccer again, which is what I love, what I like to do and today I'm not doing. I'm looking to regain that confidence in myself, soccer itself will tell what the turns of life are, but I don't close the doors to anything or anyone, much less to Santos Laguna, which is the club that I love," Lozano concluded.
Jorge Campos said he was a better goalkeeper, Ochoa cut short his career, lost his life at age 29
