Former British footballer David Beckham, owner of Inter Miami, was enthusiastic about the franchise's intention to bring in great players to play in Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States and this includes, of course, those who are considered like the two best in the world: Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. In that sense, he affirms that Leo Messi and Cristiano have been mentioned, since they have been at the top of their game and have been the best during the last 15 years, so it would be important to attract them.

Along with the franchise's new coach, his former Manchester United teammate Phil Neville, Beckham presented on Saturday the new Inter Miami shirt, a club of which he is co-owner, and in which figures of great importance in football play, such as Gonzalo Higuaín and Blaise Matuidi. It was then that Beckham pointed out that the development of young talents should be the sports cornerstone of Inter Miami but without giving up the recruitment of great figures, since he understands that this is what his fans expect from his leadership.

The history of Inter Miami as an institution is as small as it is hopeful. So much so, that last January it was barely 3 years since its foundation, and it has only one participation in MLS, the first division of soccer in the United States. However, the antecedent is really interesting, even more so considering that it was the debut in that category.

Top 10 super stars who played in MLS

Since its inaugural season in 1996, MLS has featured global figures. With the idea of promoting and publicizing the league, the incorporation of stars became customary and, in all these years, the teams had excellent footballers with all kinds of titles behind them. David Villa, Andrea Pirlo and Frank Lampard knew how to wear the New York City jersey. David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Steven Gerard, defended the colors of  Los Angeles Galaxy. Thierry Henry, played for the New York Red Bulls, Didier Drogba for the Montreal Impact, Kaka in Orlando City, and Bastian Schweinsteiger, did the same in Chicago Fire.
