The Columbus Crew SC announcement that will influence its future

Columbus Crew SC today announced that it has named Kelvin Jones as its Crew SC Academy Director. Jones joined Crew SC Academy as an assistant coach in 2017, serving as a U-15 Head Coach before taking on the role of U-19 Head Coach in 2019 ."We are delighted to promote Kelvin to the position of Crew SC Academy Director", said Vice President of Soccer Operations Pat Onstad.

Onstad talked about Jones career and showed happines for him and his new role. "Kelvin is a natural leader and someone who not only understands the culture of our Club, but who has also played a key role in player and coaching development. Throughout his time with the Club, he has continued to step-up and succeed in positions he has taken on and he is an excellent testament to the talent we have within our organization", he said.

Finally the Vice President encouraged Jones: "We want to congratulate Kelvin on his new role and look forward to seeing him continue to grow with this Club”.
