Last Saturday a strange situation appeared in the Houston Dynamo game against FC Dallas. Alberth Elis was not part of the team's squad. Fans were shocked about this situation so Tab Ramos had to explain why he didn't choose him. And now it seems that the Honduran soccer player will leave the team to travel to Europe.

Elis would follow Reggie Cannon's footsteps and join Boavista Futebol Club. According to Tab Ramos he has a "good possibility that he goes overseas. I know that overall that’s what he wants." However, he also explained that the situation is still uncertain: "To be perfectly honest, I'm really not sure. I know he was half in training yesterday".

At the end of 2016 Elis joined Dynamo on loan. After six months of achieving his personal goals, the US team finally bought his rights in a $2.5M transfer fee paid to Monterrey from Mexico. Nicknamed 'Panterita' has played 94 games with Houston Dynamo where he scored 31 goals across all competitions.
