Sporting Kansas City signs ex-Stuttgart player

The Sporting Kansas City has signed the midfielder Erik Thommy from the Stuttgart in the German Bundesliga, this has been announced this Thursday on the official club website. This contract will run through the 2024 season with an option to continue through 2025.

Washington, DC will host the 2023 MLS All-Star Game

Erik Thommy is of Germany nationality and he´s 27 years old. He will be available to join the team next july 7th and could play against the CF Montreal on July 9th.

He has nine years of experience in the Bundesliga.

¨This is a big step for me in my career¨ Thommy´s mentioned it at his introduction with the team, he also said he´s so excited to join the MLS.

“This club has great fans, great facilities and a great stadium. I want to give my best for the team and I am ready for the challenge.”

Erik Thommy has 42 goals and 33 assists in the nine seasons he has played in the Bundesliga.
