Brian Schmetzer's squad will face off against Greg Vanney's squad in Week 3 of MLS 2022 and there's bad news for Seattle.

The Sounders still haven't woken up and haven't realized that the tournament has started, which is why they have 2 losses in a row, one to Nashville SC (0-1) and the other to Real Salt Lake (1-0). 

The club should be performing as well as in the CONCACAF Champions League, where they eliminated Motagua in the Round of 16 and now in the Quarterfinals, they have left the Leon of Liga MX on the brink of elimination. 

On the LA Galaxy side, thanks to Javier "Chicharito" Hernández, the club had a very good week 1 in MLS, beating the champion, NYCFC with a score of 1-0, and in week 2 they beat Charlotte FC, the league's expansion club, 1-0. 

Greg Vanney's club is third in the Western Conference and now they must concentrate on increasing their goal tally to try to catch LAFC and fight for the lead.
